How do I get an account?
Ask your organisation’s administrator to add your email address. Then open the app, tap Create account and use that same email address. Confirm it using the link we email you.
Setting up TRM Safety for your own business
On the sign-in screen, tap Start your company. Enter your company name, your name, your work email address and a password, then confirm the address using the link we email you. When you sign in, your company is set up with you as its administrator, and a short checklist helps you add a site, a site plan, your team and your permit rules.
What happens when the free trial ends?
A company started in the app has a 7-day free trial. When it ends, the account becomes read-only: everyone can still view records and download PDFs, and administrators, managers and supervisors can export them, but nothing new can be added or changed. Unless the account has been continued, the records may later be deleted, with the photos and the sign-ins of the people in the company – at the earliest after a retention period (currently 90 days after the trial ends). Nothing is deleted before the administrators have been emailed the date: well ahead (currently 30 days before) and again shortly before (currently 7 days and 1 day before). The date is shown in the app. Administrators are also emailed before the trial ends and when it ends. Photos and uploaded files are removed from storage some days after the records. To keep a copy, an administrator goes to More › Data, sync & offline › Export everything (ZIP, with photos). Organisations set up by TRM are not affected.
I have forgotten my password
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgotten your password?, enter your email address, and follow the link in the email. In the iPhone app, this opens the TRM Safety website to set the new password. Then go back to the app and sign in.
Signing in to a site with a QR poster
Scan the poster with your phone’s camera. Enter your name and company. You do not need an account or the app. Sign out on the same page, on the same phone, when you leave. Only the phone you signed in with can sign you out. If you can’t, ask the site team – they can sign you out.
Working without a signal
You can keep working offline. Your changes are saved on your phone and sent when you are back online. You can check what is waiting under More › Data, sync & offline.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to More › Account & privacy › Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm. Signed safety records keep your name and signatures as evidence. If you are the only person in your company on TRM Safety, the button is Delete my account and the company: you type the company name to confirm, and the company and all its records are deleted with your account.
